Spring Teaser

"The world is mud-licious and puddle-wonderful."
-E.E. Cummings

Minnesota winters can feel endless, and we often spend our days through the long months daydreaming about summer, listing off our favorite things we can't wait to do. So when February grants you a reprieve from the miserable cold, you embrace every single possible second of it. The days have been in the 40s and 50s and, even occasionally, in the 60s. We've spent many hours outside on the driveway already this month. Instead of shoveling snow and sprinkling salt, we're riding bikes and scooters and chasing balls. Instead of building snowmen, we're creating makeshift dams to prevent the snow meltage from flowing down the street into the drain. Instead of sledding, we're taking wagon rides down the street and splashing in gigantic puddles. Instead of big puffy coats and millions of layers, we're wearing sweatshirts and rain boots. We realize this spring tease won't last, but we're definitely taking full advantage of it.
