Who plans a baptism on Superbowl Sunday?

Ashton had a very special day yesterday. He was baptized. He was perfect throughout the entire thing. Didn't even whimper when the water was poured over his head. His brother, on the other hand, was a naughty stinker who thought he had free reign during the ceremony. I was a bit embarrassed and definitely frustrated. It was hard to enjoy my baby's special moment when my toddler was making a scene by the baptismal fount. The important thing, though, is that Ashton is now officially a child of God and was baptized into the Christian faith.

Thanks to everyone for celebrating his important day with us, and a special thanks for those who helped us. It's always fun getting family and friends together.

The weekend started when my sister Sheila, brother-in-law Nic, and their kids, Kaylie and Kurtis came on Saturday. We met them at their hotel for a little swimming. It was Ashton's first time and he didn't seem to mind it too much. The weekend ended at Grandma Amy's and Marmer's for a little Superbowl celebration.

Enjoy pictures from the weekend.

These next pictures were posed today since I didn't get any of just Asthon in his outfit. The outfit was Spencer's and the blanket is from my Grandma Faye.
