Oooooooh....

The letter this week was O. Spencer had a lot of fun saying this letter. We spent all of the big letter O project going "Oooooooooh" over and over and over again. Here is a video of him gluing oatmeal onto an orange O.

Next we used a bunch of tupperware containers to stamp Os on a piece of paper with orange paint. Spencer really enjoyed this. (I am not adding pictures for this project because my desktop computer was struct by lightening and I am using my antique laptop, which is far too slow!! I don't have the patience to upload the pictures.) He also colored an Oo is for Owl coloring sheet. And we checked out a few O books from the library: opposites, Otto the Octopus, etc.

Whenever I listen to the baby's heartbeat with the doppler, Spencer gets very excited and wants to help. His favorite part is wiping the gel off my tummy. One day I decided to lay him down so we could hear what's in his belly. I asked him what was in there and when he didn't answer, I asked if it was a tractor. Now every time we listen to the baby's heartbeat, he says, "tractor?" over and over. I'm afraid my son will be very disappointed when I come home from the hospital with a baby instead of a tractor!
