I find that I am less motivated to do these projects now that it's actually summer weather. Both Spenc and I want to be outside. He'll stand at the door and say, "side, side" (his way of saying outside). Plus, now we're busy with play dates and mommy groups and library activities. But....I'm still staying dedicated to the letters!

This week is M and we started by putting Micky and Minnie Mouse stickers on a big M.

Next we learned about money. Spencer got a tupperware full of coins and had a blast putting them in his piggy bank. When he put all the money in, he wanted more, so I dumped more out and he did it over and over and over again. It was definitely a nice source of entertainment....and he made some money! You can watch a short video of this.
Our final M project was to make a monogram. I traced his initials on card stock and then cut them out. He painted each letter. Once they were dry, we glued them onto a whole sheet of card stock.

I had to break down and haul out my maternity clothes this week. They are still too big, but I just couldn't comfortably fit into my regular jeans anymore. The baby is moving a lot. I can even sometimes see the movement on my belly. I forgot how neat that is! He weighs about 3/4 of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long, or the length of a carrot.
